The Korean Language Program is available at Kyungsung University, Silla University, and Dong-A University.

 

It is designed for students who are looking to enhance their Korean language skills on all levels. The program is also necessary for students who are looking to continue pursuing their further studies in a Korean university. Classes are offered in 6 months for students applying for English Track Undergradaute or Graduate Korean degree; and 1 year for students applying for Korean Track Undergraduate or Graduate Korean degree.

 

Program includes Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking, as well as field trips, Korean traditional cooking, games and cultural experiences, and other study methods through K-culture and media references.

All classes are conducted in Korean.

Students must obtain a Korean language trainee visa (D-4).

Visa

Students who have been accepted into Regular Korean Language Program can apply for either a General Short-Term Visa (C-3) only for one semester(10 weeks) or a General Student Visa (D-4) for more than two semesters(six months). It is essential for foreign nationals to have an appropriate visa for their study.Visa matter is very complicated and different from student’s situation. It is student’s responsibility to clarify he or she’s visa matter at the nearest Korean Embassy.

Entrance Requirements

1. A completed application form  2. A photocopy of the student’s passport
3. A copy of your school diploma from the last school attended (only in English)
4. The original academic transcripts of the last school you attended (the original and a notarized
translation form in English.)
5. An original bank statement showing your(or parental) account balance with over 5,000 USD(per two terms)
6. Proof of parental employment and earned income statement (the original and a notarized translation
form in Korean or in English.)
7. Copies of you and your parents’ ID cards
8. An official certificate which can prove the relationship between you and your parents (the original
and a notarized translation form in English) such as a birth certificates
