2). Eligibility for Application

  • Nationality & Academic Qualification

    • A prospective applicant and both parents must be non-Korean.​

    • Have completed all formal curricula that corresponds to Korea's primary and secondary education (12 years) in a foreign country.

​

  • Language Qualification

    • A holder of at least IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL 530 (CBT 197, iBT 71) / CEFR B2 / TEPS 600, (or) other corresponding national accredited English proficiency test; OR

    • A holder of the nationality of a country that uses English as a legal official language.

  • Interview is conducted only for qualified applicants after online application screening process.

  • Interview is marked by points, 100 points being the highest, and is evaluated based on the average score of entire interviewees.

  • All applicants will be evaluated on learning ability and major aptitude (30pts); expression of intentions (30pts); academic literacy, attitude and overall interview performance (20pts); and language skills (20pts).

Scholarships

  • First-Year Students​

    • 30% Tuition Fee Waiver for a holder of IELTS 5.5, or equivalent.​

    • 30% Tuition Fee Waiver for a student of English-speaking foreign nationality.

    • 100% Tuition Fee Waiver for Special Selected Scholar, evaluated based on the highest score of the admission evaluation process & among all applicants holding IELTS 6.0 or equivalent, or English-speaking foreign nationality.

  • Enrolled Students (starting 2nd Semester)

    • Additional tuition fee waiver of up to 100% will be given to qualified students, evaluated on their previous GPA and participation in their studies (representative of student associations, outstanding language proficiency test score, etc).

    • Students must have obtained at least 16 credits per semester and minimum GPA of 2.0 out of 4.5 scale in order to maintain their tuition fee reduction from the previous semester.

    • Other scholarships offered by external institutions will be available and  provided within the budget by its own standards, and the eligibility requirements shall be determined separately by The Committee of Foreign Students.

    • Scholarship benefits given by Kyungsung University cannot exceed 100% of tuition fee.

  • Major of Integrated Business Management (IBM)

IBM is newly established to meet the international demand for English classes. All classes are conducted in English except for elective Korean Language classes.

​

The goal of IBM is to cultivate global talents that can lead the world market by understanding various business fields (tourism management, international trade and management information), on top of management and economics knowledge.

​

IBM promotes understanding of different cultures, making students have a sense of global citizenship and forming a global network.
