1). Eligibility for Application
  • All applicants must meet one of the following nationality requirements.

    • Both applicant and his/her parents must be citizens of a foreign country.​

    • A person who had completed all educations equivalent to elementary, junior high, high school, and undergraduate education in a foreign country.

  • All applicants must meet one of the following language proficiency requirements.

    • TOPIK (Korean Language Proficiency Test) Level 4 and above​

    • Regular English Language Proficiency Test at a certain level;

      • TOEFL iBT 71, or​

      • IELTS 5.5, or

      • TEPS 600                 and above.​​​

3). Required Documents
  1. Completed Application Form of Kyungsung University Global Business Graduate Program: *must be typed, not handwritten!

    1. Paper Application (form 1) and 3 photos (4x5 size, white background)​

    2. Educational History (form 2)

    3. Personal Statement (form 3)

    4. Study Plan (form 4)

    5. Personal Information Release Consent Form (form 5)

    6. One Recommendation Letter (form 6) *must be from professors of the university the applicant attended.

  2. An official transcript of academic records from the last university attended

  3. A certificate of (prospective) degree from the last university attended

  4. Language Proficiency Certificate

  5. Copy of Applicant's Passport

  6. Financial Certifications *in Korean or English

    • A certificate of bank deposit balance of the student or financial sponsor showing a minimum deposit balance of 18,000 USD maintained for at least one month, or a certificate of fund remittance to Korea/money exchange corresponding to 18,000 USD or more.​

    • Financial sponsor should be a person of the same nationality as the applicant or a resident in Korea

    • When submitting a certificate of the sponsor's bank deposit balance, applicants should submit the following together;

      • Sponsor's certificate of employment or a copy of the sponsor's certificate of business proprietor registration​

      • Sponsor's certificate of withholding tax or sponsor's certificate of withholding taxation

      • Sponsor's company address and phone number must be written on certificates

  7. Applicant's Family Registration Certificate

  8. Other applicable documents;

    • Certificate of former employment,​

    • Research experience resume and results, English abstract of thesis/dissertation

    • Awards, prizes, scholarships, etc.

* NOTE: 

  • All application documents must be originals or properly certified copies of the originals.

  • All documents in a language other than Korean or English must be accompanied by a notarized Korean or English translation.

  • In addition to the documents specified in this guide, other additional documents may be required when necessary, in order to confirm the applicant's eligibility and information submitted.

2). Evaluation
  • Applicants will be accepted for admission through a comprehensive evaluation of his/her academic ability, achievements and development potential, based on submitted documents.

  • Applicants who pass their documents review will be scheduled to do an interview. A telephone/video interview may be arranged for overseas applicants.

4). Application Fee, Tuition Fee, Scholarships

Initial Payment:

Royal Butler Processing Fee............................................  150 USD

Entrance Fee........................................................................ 550 USD

1 Semester Tuition Fee (without scholarship)........... 3,800 USD

Accommodation Fees..................................................... 1,900 USD

Airport Pickup Fee............................................................... 30 USD

* NOTES:

  • Royal Butler Processing Fee includes university's application fee, documents preparation and application guidance, and full-process of online application & documents submission (provided that documents submitted by applicant is valid, complete, and on time).

  • Royal Butler Processing Fee does not guarantee admission grant.

  • Royal Butler Processing Fee is non-refundable.

  • Insurance fee, visa fee, textbook fees, etc are excluded.

  • A scholarship equivalent to 0~40% of the tuition fee will be awarded to international students for regular semesters.

  • International students may receive a full grant for tuition fees for participating in research or academic project led by their thesis director. The number of awardee varies every year.

  • Full tuition fee without scholarship is approx. 3,800 USD /semester

  • Accommodation fees, airport pickup fee are optional.

5). Other Information
  • Any matter not specified in this admission guide with regard to the university's special admission process for international students will be pursuant to the decision of the university's Admissions Review Committee.

  • Application fee paid will not be refunded.
